Hola People. I hope everyone is having a great weekend. I am for sure. This weekend is one of my favorites "special events" for the Daytona Beach area. It's called Turkey Rod Run. It has been going on for over 30 years. I'm sure some of you are scratching your head and saying, what the hell is Turkey Rod Run. It's a gathering of car collectors. They bring with them their antique cars, muscle cars, hot rods, and most any kind of car that you wouldn't normally see on the street. I walked through Bellair Plaza yesterday evening and it was just a spectacular sight seeing all of the cars. I took a lot of pics of all the different cars. Its rather awesome to see such an eclectic mix of old and new. Its the first time that the sidewalks in town were packed with spectators. There weren't as many people during the other events like spring break, bike week, and BCR. After going to Bellair to look at the Rods, I went up to Missy's house and did my laundry. Figured I may as well do what little bit I have so I dont have to worry about it before my trips to Tampa and NC. Speaking of which, I am so excited. I only have two more days of work of course, after I get off today. Rachael brought me an apartment guide, to check out and get more familiar with the area. I am not wanting to live in an apartment. I would rather find a nice 2br 2 ba home with a fenced in yard. I am wanting a dog. I think the dog is the answer to my companionship issues. At least the dog would love me no matter what and be excited to see me when I walk in the door. LOL. Its been a while since I have had a dog in my life. LOL. Well, its 10am and I guess im done posting for now. I will do my best to post as often as I can this week during my trip to Tampa and definitely try and post somethings while up in NC visiting my family. As always, PEACE OUT!
