I spared the turkey...

Hello People, I hope you all had the best of Thanksgivings. Mine was pretty good except for the fact that I TOTALLY overslept by 3 hours. I was supposed to get up at 7am and get ready for work and walk to work by 9am since the bus doesnt run on holidays. Well, I rolled over at 10am and looked at the clock and jumped out of bed. After the 2 min shower and getting dressed I sped walked the 2 miles to my job and got there by 1045am. I was the only one working since I felt others should have the holiday with their families. I am a nice guy when I wanna be. LOL. While at work I burned Missy 22 cd's of his music. Well I got off work at 5pm and Dan and I went up to LaPlaya and had dinner up there. I didnt eat any turkey, but the ham was off the chain. The only thing missing was some of Mom's potato salad. LaPlaya was packed with all the turkey rod runners. I am getting pictures of the cars tomorrow I promise. Well after sparing the turkey (I'm more of a ham man), I walked back home and called up Rachael and she was in town spending time with her family. She swung by the house and we watched some tv and relaxed. Then James showed up to spend some time with her. Then Missy and Tommy stopped by after working their asses off for that buffet at LaPlaya. So we had a couple of celebratory shots and decided we may as well go to the streamline and have a couple of rounds. Well Dan walked in and we actually talked him into going with us...surprise surprise surprise. We stayed down there for a couple of hours. I called up Mom and wished her a Happy turkey day as well. She was over at my sister's house and they had a big dinner they had all cooked. I wish I could have been there. But my time to be with them is soon enough. I feel like a little kid waiting for the first day of school. I know my 4 days up in NC are going to go by faster than I can blink. But I will thoroughly enjoy them as best I can. When I get up there, I wanna go by the cemetery and visit Daddy, visit with both of sisters and the kids, Mom and her boyfriend, and I wanna see Kris, Carey, Kristie, Deborah, Mrs. Jackie and Mr. Glenn. Thats pretty much all of my familiy in a nutshell except for Michelle but she lives near Greensboro. But I have promised all my friends here in Florida that I am bringing back some of the best BBQ in the world. I am going to bring back 5lbs of NC style BBQ. I cant wait to have some BBQ. So anyways, Im so excited about my trips to Tampa next week and then to NC on 12-3. Well, its time to wind this up for now, and I hope everyone has a safe holidays and remember togetherness is what the holidays true meaning is all about. To have my closest friends all together on Thanksgiving was a blessing. Til my next blog, PEACE OUT to ALL!!!
